Located in Napa’s historic Tannery Row neighborhood south of downtown, this up-and-coming small-batch craft brewery specializes in seasonal ales and IPAs with unconventional flavors. The Belgian Dubbel, for instance, is brewed with candy cap mushrooms, and the bourbon aged stout is made with plums and figs. Visit the taproom at Tannery Bend Beerworks, and you’ll be able to taste at least 10 different beers at any given time. Sandwiches and light bar bites are also available (the house-made Chex mix is better than what you get in the bags), and on some nights, there’s trivia or live music. Tannery Bend is the brainchild of a bunch of Napa locals: Oenotri’s Tyler Rodde and Lauren Duncan, and brewer Matt Cromwell.
