Tamarindos is a wonderful, high-end restaurant in Guatemala City's Zone 10, with a nice lounge area. We went on a Saturday night, and while it was packed the food was absolutely phenomenal. It is a fusion of traditional Guatemalan ingredients with a modern Asian twist. One of our favorite dishes of the night was duck in tamarind sauce, but I definitely recommend the lamb chops as well. They also have a great wine list to pair with your dinner. Head Chef is Paris-trained Milly Bruderer.
