Located on Larimer Street, this restaurant is a little confusing to find because there is a street level restaurant named Tag and about 100 feet away is the Tag Raw Bar. It is downstairs and not as obvious, but keep an eye out for the sign. It is a quaint little raw bar with an edge. They have a long bar and high top tables surrounding the bar area and a lounge area tucked in the back. The walls are adorned in orange, with menu items listed in different font sizes in bright white laid over the orange walls. Exposed piping and wood in the ceiling give it the nuevo atmosphere, which a mixed but pleasing dichotomy with the 50's music that is playing. The restaurant specializes mainly in raw food, but everything we tried was excellent. Out favorite was the Shiso Spicy with kampachi, spicy crab, gobo, shiso, and daikon oroshi. For the non-raw food lovers they have a great selection of rice and noodle bowls. The BBQ Chicken Rice bowl was spicy and good. It is a very trendy up and coming hot spot in Denver. Go there before everyone discovers it.
