Authentic Cambodian Street Food in Siem Reap
It's surprisingly hard to find authentic Cambodian food in Siem Reap. Almost every restaurant in the city serves up some sort of Cambodian-Thai hybrid cuisine. After two or three days of looking for an authentic night market, we were finally told to go to street 60. Every night a market pops up with produce hawkers, clothing vendors, and even rides for children, but the highlight of the market is the street food. You can have a sit down hotpot dinner, barbecued meat on a stick, insects, and pretty much anything else you can imagine, and it's all delicious! I went to the market two nights in a row just for the papaya salad.
