I love the street lights in Cancun. Pull up to a red light and someone selling newspapers, or chili powdered mango slices, or thin sleeves of cashews will come right up to your car window. You can buy peeled oranges or ice cold coconuts complete with a straw to sip the sweet water inside. But my favorite stop-light store item is the orange juice that tastes like it is still in the orange—all tangy and zippy and pulpy and not too sweet. You would be amazed at its invigorating effects. And that is a good thing, because after a late night in this vacation lover’s city, you will probably need it.
