Just ask the locals: Strawberry Park Hot Springs is one of the best hot springs in Colorado, arguably in all of the U.S.A. When you visit Steamboat Springs, visiting the hot springs is a "must have" experience.
Open on weekends until midnight and weeknights until 10:30 p.m., head over after a full day on the slopes to soak tired, sore muscles and enjoy the fabulous natural beauty of the springs all around you, draped in snow.
Soak in 104 degree mineral water as the snow falls- and if you dare, take the plunge into the freezing river waters that border the springs for some spa-like treatment.
The springs are open year round, so for a different experience come back in the summer to swim and have some fun. Massage services are offered on-site, as well as facials and Watsu Therapy.
During the winter months if you're wanting some peace and quiet, go during day time hours. As the day goes on and people get off the slopes, Strawberry Park fills up, forming a hot springs apres-ski party instead of a tranquil mineral soak. No glass bottles or alcohol admitted.
