State Hermitage Museum

The Hermitage Museum
Our third and final day in Russia we went to the Hermitage Museum. We got to go into the Gold Rooms, which are not open to the public and which house beautiful antiquities made of gold. We also saw the Peacock Clock, the Rafael Loggias, and various art and artifacts. We saw more Van Gogh art, like what we had seen in Amsterdam, and some beautiful Monet paintings. We saw Greek vases and Roman busts. I love history and art, so a museum like this which shows history through art, is my favorite kind of museum.
