Starlight Six Drive-In Theatre

2000 Moreland Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30316, USA

There’s nothing better than enjoying a cool summer evening with food, friends, and a movie. Conveniently so, the Starlight Six Drive-In provides just that. On top of that, there’s nothing more enticing than enjoying a movie in the coziness of your own car and being able to gab throughout the entire movie without any complaints. The Starlight has four screens, and each provides double screenings for the flat rate of $7 (for adults). Like all reputable movie theatre, it has a concession stand with popcorn, candy, and drinks, but most patrons get creative and bring their own food. Tip 1: The neighborhood’s a little dicey (there’s a good ol’ prison nearby) so stay inside the actual drive-in and keep your wits about you. Tip 2: Alcohol is not allowed, probably for the better.

Get a Blast from the Past at Starlight Drive-In Theatre

Starlight Six Drive-In Theatre has been entertaining the area since 1949, and is the last standing drive-in movie theater in Atlanta. Grab concessions (or bring your own), tune the radio to pick up the audio, and lean back to enjoy this nostalgic movie-going experience. For more than half the price of a regular movie ticket ($8 for adults, $1 for kids), you can enjoy two films in this authentic setting. On the weekends, the lot is transformed into a flea market and events such as live music concerts and car shows take place throughout the year.
