Walking Through Art
When I was in Spain I saw work from Richard Serra for the first time. His work is amazing as is larger than life. He creates structures out of steel and bends them to create very powerful pieces that you can walk through and actually experience the size and intricacies of the piece. When at the Stanford Cantor Art Gallery we looked out the window and there was one of Richard Serra’s pieces. We immediately went down and started walking through the art! I loved looking forward, up and down to see the different angles and perspectives from all different views. I am not sure how long this piece will be at the museum but if you are in Palo Alto it is worth checking out!
