Modish Middle Eastern Cuisine
Lunch service at this fine-casual restaurant in Downtown L.A. features a streamlined three-step menu—begin with a base like basmati rice, a wrap, or hummus; add a braised meat or falafel; and finish with classic and reimagined Middle Eastern sides. After 6 p.m., though, there’s crispy cauliflower, za'atar fried chicken, and the popular house-made spicy braised beef. Also expect innovative cocktails, such as harissa margaritas and fig-infused old-fashioneds.
