Hidden at the end of a dirt road, Spohr Gardens is not the kind of place you can stumble upon, but once you hear about and discover it for yourself, you have to keep going back. After parking, you'll cross the dirt road and head down a grassy path through flowered woods. The trees eventually break and then you're standing at the edge of Oyster Pond. After walking along the edge of the water, the path wraps back up through the woods.
My recommendation is to do the main trail first and sit on the dock for as long you need to fully appreciate the quiet beauty of the glassy salt pond. Then re-walk the path and take a chance up one of the little walkways that veer off and meander through flower beds and up stone steps. You don't know where they'll take you.
