Souk El Had
Get spicy in Agadir
Perhaps there’s no more authentic Moroccan experience than visiting a souk, a hub of bustling activity at any time of day. Here at the third-biggest market in North Africa — Souk El Had in Agadir — among the hundreds and hundreds of stalls selling food, wares and more, cooking aficionados and chef wannabes alike can pick up the spices they need to make authentic tagines and more. Be sure to haggle, as that’s the only way business is done here! Note: the market is open six days but closed on Mondays.
