Take in the coast on the Bay of Naples
Being on a cruise doesn't mean you have to see everything from the water. Our ship docked in Sorrento on the second night of the trip and although the town itself is pretty enough, one of the highlights was the bus trip out of Sorrento along the coast. The scenery along the bay of Naples is just fantastic - mountains, sea, colourful stucco houses clinging precariously to the sides of the hills and impossibly engineered plantations of olive and lemon groves, terraced along the steep slopes. The benefit of the bus - you can enjoy the scenery rather than worry about taking all those dangerous bends.
