The Silver Cellar, to translate its name, is just what it says it is: A trove of gleaming silver in a store that’s located a few steps down from trendy Kompagnistraede. Entering does, quite literally, feel like stepping back in time. It has a huge selection of vintage silver and silver plate, as well as more recently produced stuff. There’s a good selection of stuff from the country’s most famous silversmith, Georg Jensen, at fair prices. From preposterously huge serving spoons to 1930s barware and sleek mid-century modern designs, there’s a lot of treasure to be explored in this cellar.
