We were so tired after a day at Belem, and walking around in Lisbon with sightseeing and just discovering the little corners when the time came for lunch.
We found the best hidden spots lost in the little streets of Alfama but none of them were open for food.
The kitchens close between 16:00 and 19:00 and it was 16:30....
We walked again more and more and we had reached that time where we were thirsty, hungry, tired, sun burnt etc. and we just wanted a nice place to eat that was open. All the places we had found on several restaurant mobile app guides we used were closed.
So as we continue walking, we ask at a random place near the Baixa, along the beach: "kitchen open?" they say yes, so we finally seat!
We see the multilingual menu...full of nice fish dishes and we just order randomly.
Luck was on our side as it was amazing!
Everything was really really nice! And I suggest you go as it was about 20 EUR per person and the value for money is very very good!
It doesn't look like much from the outside but trust me you won't regret it!
