Take in the View-Snoqualmie Falls
Do you have an afternoon free? Don’t know what to do? Grab lunch, maybe some sub sandwiches, and drive over to Snoqualmie Falls. It’s an absolutely stunning sight (so as I’ll be saying in all my Washington highlights-bring your camera!) Trivia for you: the 270 ft waterfall actually tops Niagara Falls by 100 ft although it’s not as wide. Walk down the stairs to observations decks, find a seat, eat your food, and take in the spectacular view in front of you. If you want to be more active, choose one of the many trails in the 2 acre park that the waterfall is located in. I also found out that the water flowing over the falls runs over a twenty million year old extinct volcano (cool, right?).
