Sheridan Opera House
Built in 1913, the former vaudeville theater now known as the Sheridan Opera House was rescued from the wrecking ball in the 1990s by the Sheridan Arts Foundation and Colorado Historical Society. Now, it’s a prime venue to see things 19th-century Telluride locals couldn’t have imagined, like comedians from
Saturday Night Live and
The Daily Show. Hit the comparatively new Show Bar, on the first floor, for a cocktail an hour before curtain.
