Fresh Food in a Fantastic Setting
Shan Yoe Yar recently emerged as one of Yangon’s premier options for local cuisine. The restaurant is located in a newly remodeled teak colonial building in the central downtown neighborhood of Lanmadaw. It's pleasant environment incorporates a teak bar, wicker furniture, warm lighting and tasteful artwork. They specialize in cuisine from Myanmar’s Shan State, which offers a unique culture and boasts diverse dishes such as San See (sticky rice noodles), Pal Pote (pounded soy beans mixed with seasoning) Inle Wat Thar Chat (Inle Lake Pork Curry). Shan food also integrates a healthy compliment of herbs and produce, making it one of the freshest and most nutritious options in Myanmar.
