Kensington Market has long been a destination for cheap and cheerful meals which the popular Seven Liveshas in spades. You can't enter the tiny space without encountering a queue of people waiting to eat loaded Baja-style tacos. Much of the focus is on seafood—aka mariscos—and offerings include blackened mahi-mahi and octopus in pumpkin-seed mole. But it’s the taco gobernador that’s the top seller: a taco stuffed with smoked marlin and shrimp and plenty of cheese.
