A Wine Bar in a Former Shoe Cobbler Shop
I'm a big fan of all Chef Bertrand Grébaut's establishments in the 11th, but the one I frequent the most is his natural wine bar Septime La Cave. The cozy location in a former cordonnerie or shoe cobbler shop is charming- with wood beam lined ceiling- and the natural wines are interesting and delicious. My husband and I have been able to learn about many of the most exciting up-and-coming natural wine makers in France like Eric Pfifferling by visiting this wine bar, and just like you might expect from the man behind Septime, the small bites on offer are delicious. The ricotta with anchovies may sound strange but it's one of the most delicious dishes in Paris.
