Partake in Seoul’s Coffee SceneSeoul is inundated with coffee shops and themed cafés – there seems to be at least one on every street. The culture is very group-oriented which explains the recent proliferation in coffeehouses, particularly since people don’t entertain much from home. For a quality cup of joe, superior barista service, and freshly roasted brews, seek out Coffee Libre, Ikovox, or Fritz. Though people in other countries prefer to start their mornings with a jolt of caffeine, most coffee bars here don’t open until lunchtime – only major chains like Starbucks or Holly’s start early. Coffee is instead reserved for social meetups in the afternoon or evening.
