Paris Baguette
Walk the streets of
Seoul for even one day, and you will begin to notice that Paris Baguette—the most popular of Korean bakery shops—is ever present. Located in train stations, bus depots, malls, the airport, and on practically every street in every neighborhood in Seoul, you’ll find this croissant-slinging powerhouse packed with Koreans craving a tasty treat. Many items purveyed are a unique mix of culinary flavors that may not be good to western palates (think hot dogs on sweet buns and sugary bread topped with savory bean sauce), but I might recommend the apple tarts, cheese bagels and, of course, the baguettes. The shops also make a mean cappuccino.
