A visit to Seoul just wouldn’t be complete without digging deeper into the culture, and what better way to do that than by making kimchi or dancing to the strains of a K-Pop song?
At the Seoul Global Cultural Center in Myeongdong, visitors can participate in a myriad of classes designed to help them learn about the history and culture of The Land of the Morning Calm. Visitors can try their hand at creating traditional handicrafts such as folk painting and papermaking, or indulge in cooking or dance classes.
Feel like playing dress up? There’s even a room with nothing but hanboks, Korean traditional clothing, so visitors can strike a pretty pose.
Most classes are free, some have a nominal fee. Reservations are recommended.
