See Cartagena by Horse and Carriage
The setting could hardly be more charming: a walled colonial city where houses are the pleasing pastel colors of Easter eggs and balconies are a riot of hot pink and orange bougainvillea. One of the most pleasant ways to see the sights here is to hire a horse and carriage to take you for a turn within that UNESCO-listed walled city. The clop of horse hooves, the salty breeze of the Caribbean and the sound of music drifting from a public plaza make for a memorable multisensory ride.
