I have enjoyed sleeping on a train while traveling, and I have dreaded sleeping in the Station on one occasion. The next best thing to being rocked to sleep on a moving train is to stay at a peaceful and friendly Inn. The Sebastopol Inn is located behind the old train station which now houses a great Cafe "Coffee Catz", and a train car wine bar the "Starlight". The Inn is walking distance to Main Street, but nestled in a quite peaceful nook backed by trees. It is clean, friendly, and far more affordable then the glamours hotels of neighboring Napa. I appreciate the Inn embracing Sebastopol's agriculture and Rail Road past, it's green courtyard, tin roof, and open veranda. A soak in the hot tub after a day of bike riding, hiking, or wine tasting isn't bad either.
