Sebastopol House Historic Site
During Reconstruction after the Civil War, many Texan African-Americans started their own businesses. This chapter of Post Civil War Reconstruction era Texas History is told at both the Civil War era Sebastopol House and at the Seguin-Guadalupe County Heritage Museum. The Sebastopol House, built by skilled slave laborers in 1856, now houses a new exhibit of highly collectable pottery created by H. Wilson & Company.
