Seaweed Farm on Nusa Lembongan, Indonesia
Real Work By Real People on Bali
Bali is such a mythical place that tourists often forget that that is a real place inhabited by some of the hardest working people on the planet - seaweed farmers. For just cents a day these people toil at low tide, be it at 4 AM or 4 PM, to plant and harvest their meager crops. It is humbling to see such labor amid the beauty and luxury that is Bali.
