Seattle’s Best Coffee/Vashon Bar & Grill Shiba-koen

Operated by the Seattle’s Best chain of coffee shops, Vashon Bar and Grill is a casual affair located in the immediate vicinity of Shiba Park and Zojoji Temple. In addition to fresh-roasted coffee, it offers a Northwest continental-style cuisine such as chilled crab claws, sautéed Alaskan salmon, and steaks. The standout at Vashon, however, is the weekend brunch available from 11am to 4pm—in addition to things like blueberry pancakes, they also offer what possibly could be Tokyo’s cheapest Eggs Benedict, priced at an extremely reasonable 900 yen (and they don’t skimp on the Hollandaise sauce, either).
