On the outskirts of the heart of Kennebunkport is an unlikely museum that might be worth your time to check out. The Seashore Trolley Museum is quite the place for an outing to experience things of the past. It is America's first & oldest transit museum. A cable car from Biddeford, Maine started the museum off in the 1930's. Apparently there were trolly cars in the city back in the day. The tickets are shaped as old transfer tickets too. A wee souvenir to take home with you. It's a great place to spend the morning looking at all kinds of trains & cable cars from all over the world in the three barns. Also, a highlight for any trip is to take a ride on a trolley & to learn about the history of the past. There's so much to look at on your visit.
