Sea Life Park is well-known for their dolphin shows and encounters, and is a park not to be missed. You can easily experience the whole park in a few hours.
If you book through a hotel, your transportation is included, and if booking a dolphin encounter, park admission is too.
The animal encounters are very well done, and come at a variety of price and time structures.
Our family of four (kids ages 14, and 7), and adults alike all found the dolphin encounter very fun. Be prepared for expensive, but high-quality photos available for purchase. If one member of your party chooses not to participate with the animals, you may consider appointing him or her the photographer. If you tell the hosts that you'd prefer to do your own photography, they can tell you the best vantage points.
Our concierge tipped us off not to miss the ray encounter. After the expense of the dolphin encounter, I was reluctant to add anything else, but she told me "it's totally worth the $20." Yes, just twenty dollars, so I decided to give it a try. It ended up being the highlight of the day.
There's a brief educational orientation, and then a snorkel with the rays, and fish--including lettuce to hand-feed. All of the fish are sociable, and both of our kids could easily encounter the rays and fish in a very safe, comfortable environment. All snorkel equipment is provided.
Clean showers and changing rooms are easily accessible on the park to rinse off.
