Sea Life Aquarium
Go underground to get up close and personal with the sea creatures of the Pacific and Southern Oceans. New Zealand marine archaeologist and diver Kelly Tarlton came up with the idea of using curved acrylic tunnels to view fish swimming overhead, a design now used in aquariums all over the world. See Antarctic penguins, stingrays and schooling and predatory fish, and enjoy the interactive and educational exhibits dedicated to different species. Check the website for feeding times and ticket discounts.
