At the east end of Nantucket island you’ll find the historic and charming village of Siasconset, better known as ‘Sconset, settled as a fishing village in the 17th century. Make sure to walk by the ocean and see Codfish Park. These old cottages have some of the best locations on the island and many residents keep with the tradition of naming their house. Some are covered with colorful buoys, or roses. You can access the area by bike path or the seasonal shuttle and find refreshments in town.
