I love Il Santino. It is the little food and wine bar adjacent to the restaurant Il Santo Bevitore which is one of the best restaurants in the world. Not in terms of Michelin, but in terms of balance. It has modern and traditional twists on Italian/Tuscan cuisine, it is ideal for most occasions, and has extremely reasonable prices. Not to mention a stellar wine list. The wine bar serves the most artisan local typical products, breads with food and wine paired snack menus. The only drawback is the size and that they do not accept reservations. First come first serve, but so worth it if you can get in. I must say, it is best to come with someone like a guide or a friend who knows a bit about wines and the typical products. The staff are so busy that they don't seem to have the time to explain or make suggestions. They offer very particular products where service is utterly necessary but rather lacking. Otherwise, a heaven for gastronomes and oenophiles.
