The market, which includes 130 grower members and was founded in 1983, pops up downtown on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Influencing and inspiring the menus of local chefs and restaurants, the farmers markets sell the freshest, close-grown produce from pistachio to peaches, meat, eggs, and flowers, and also provides a communal gathering place, “eat local” challenges, and a “Farm to Table Radio Hour” every Thursday.
