Don't waste your time searching for utensils or a menu and instead follow my lead: Order a couple of idli, a vada or dosa and a cup of tea. Moments later you'll be presented with your order plus a rainbow of chutneys and sambar on a banana leaf lined tray. If you've remembered to wash your hands at a tiny wash station on the way in, use only your right hand to mish and mash and dredge your chutneys, you'll be rewarded with a duo of tiny tin cups with strikingly hot and deliciously sweet tea after your meal. Pour one to the other and then back again. Be careful not to burn your fingers and don't forget to wash up the last morsels of chutney from your fingers on the way out.
