Sand Hollow State Park

Not far from St. George in Southwest Utah lies a park that is mostly water. The 1,300-acre Sand Hollow Reservoir ranges in temperature from the 50’s in the winter to the 80’s in the summer and there are a number of sandy beaches all around with good access to the water as well as rocky nooks to explore. Boating is permitted and anyone fishing is likely to pull out some Bullhead Catfish, Largemouth Bass, or Rainbow Trout. There are two campgrounds to choose from and just about anything can be rented from ATV’s to boats and jetskis.
