Take an urban tour of San Salvador
El Salvador is under the radar for many Americans, meaning that it’s not overrun with tourists. Even travelers who pride themselves on their off-the-beaten-path bona fides tend to overlook El Salvador, which is a shame: between its beautiful natural attractions and its fascinating cultural and historical sites, there’s plenty to keep one busy here. Since nearly everyone’s point of entry to the country is the capital, San Salvador, it’s worth taking a day to explore the city on a guided urban tour.
