Weekend Warrior Scooter Ride San Diego to San Quintín, Baja Mexico
Is there anything more "Bajamerican" than an amazing long weekend scooter trip with 45 comrades from San Diego, California to the bay on the Pacific at San Quintín, Baja Mexico?
This was quintessential adventure and moreover one of the best life changing travel encounters my husband and I have ever experienced.
If there is one word to describe this trip: liberating.
If there is one phrase or two to describe this trip: Get out of your comfort zone! Feed your soul with love, friends and adventure.
What made this trip special? .....the friendly and positive camaraderie, observing nature, culture and new surroundings, the tasty hole in the wall carne and fish taco shops, making new friends, bond, eat fresh oysters together, pick up sea shells, relax on a private beach, check out the water caves (looks like yucatan's cenotes) on the way to famous Mama Espinoza and (for the tireless) ride through the National Park and the windy road reaching 9300 feet to the Observatory for breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and Sea of Cortez.
a BIG THANKS to Steve Bailey, Christina and the crew of Vespa Motorsports in San Diego http://vespamotorsport.com/ for organizing this superb trip! Count us in for the next adventure!
