Take in San Francisco from the Bay
An easy way to see the San Francisco Bay up close is to take the ferry to Sausalito and back. You'll be spoiled with beautiful views of the city, Alcatraz, and the Golden Gate Bridge. Once in Sausalito, you can explore the small streets, go window-shopping, walk along the water, and grab a bite before heading back. Taking a ferry at sunset is a nice way to see the Bay in a different light. Purchase tickets at the Ferry Building on the Embarcadero; they cost $10 one-way for adults, with discounts available for seniors and children.
