San Antonio Fire Museum

801 East Houston Street

The volunteer-run San Antonio Fire Museum is dedicated to the history and service of the city’s firefighters. Just a block from the Alamo, it’s well worth a visit. Kids will love the play area and relish the opportunity to dress up in vintage firefighter equipment, ring the fire bell (maybe even turn on the sirens), and check out the vintage trucks on display.
