Walking Cobblestone Streets
This quaint little village has become very close to my heart and not because of the wine. From the tourist office you can take a walking tour of the Romanesque church, hermitage, and monolithic church (the largest in Europe). Once back in the tourist office get the key to the bell tower and climb high above the town to see the fantastic view of the vineyard strewn valley that was originally farmed by the Romans. It is not a UNESCO site by accident. Packed with history, fantastic views, incredible food, and fabulous wines, spend a day basking in the best of France. Stop at Amelia Canta at the base of the bell tower for some of the best crepes France has to offer!!
