Each year, Cabo’s culinary culture is celebrated with the Sabor a Cabo Food Festival, typically held in December. In addition to food demos and tasting tables hosted by local chefs, the festival features live performances by musical groups, some of which are quite unexpected; members from the metal band KISS have made an appearance at previous festivals. Local wine and tequila figure prominently in the festival, too. The event is open to the public, but tickets are required.
