Ruen Come In Northern Thais are fiercely proud of their traditions and their unique culinary heritage. The Lan Na Kingdom, which ruled this part of the nation for around five centuries, left behind myriad riches, including a roll call of culinary creations that are hard to find in other parts of the Kingdom. These delicious dishes are all present and perfecty prepared at Ruen Come In, which promotes both the cuisine and culture of northern Thailand. An atmospheric teak house summons up an authentic vibe, as do servers attired in traditional Lan Na clothing. The food doesn’t disappoint either. Dishes are made according to family recipes passed down across generations, and include highlights such as sai oua (northern Thai sausage) and kaeng hua plee (curry made with banana leaf).
