Ruby's Inn Best Western Bryce Canyon

We loved staying in Ruby's Inn Best Western during our visit to Bryce Canyon, and felt it made a perfect base for exploring the national park. Located just 3 miles from the park's entrance, Ruby's recently celebrated 100 years of providing lodging to visitors to this area, and has grown over to time to encompass more than just accommodations. The Western-themed property feels more like a small village, with two restaurants, a general store, grocery store, horse corral, rodeo, indoor pool, fitness center, laundromat, post office and more. When you check in, you get a map of the property to help you find your way around to all the different amenities. When you're ready to head out for Bryce Canyon, you can buy a park pass right outside the Inn's main entrance, and then catch the free shuttle that will take you into the park. Parking lots inside Bryce Canyon fill up quickly, so the shuttle is a good option to get you there and back. The shuttle comes every 10-15 minutes. Within the Inn's main lobby, you can buy tickets for canyon horse rides, rodeo shows, helicopter rides, and Ebenezer's Barn and Grill cowboy band show (featuring the Bryce Canyon Wranglers). Right across the street are the Old Bryce Town Shops, which include an ice-cream shop, gift/souvenir shop, and a cool rock shop for geology nerds. Many of the rocks come from around Utah, and the shop is arranged in a way that encourages tactile exploration. About a 5-minute walk from the Inn is Ruby's Inn Rodeo, where you can catch a one-hour show each evening at 7 pm and see cowboys and cowgirls of all ages try to wrangle or ride horses, bulls, and even sheep! The motel-style rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable and the decor includes vintage photography from Bryce Canyon and Ruby's 100-year history. If camping is more your style, Ruby's also has an RV park and campground with 200 shaded campsites, RV hookups, tent sites, cabins and teepee (tipi) rentals, hot showers, swimming pool, and free wi-fi.
