Even if you don’t overnight at the inn, you can enjoy fresh, home-cooked meals at this paladar that receives rave reviews not only for its flavor, but also for its charming setting and its warm and friendly service. Meals are served alfresco on the intimate, vine-covered terrace, and vegans and vegetarians will be especially well fed with dishes such as cream of squash soup and marinated eggplant.
Being a casa particular as well is probably the reason why they have chosen to serve real traditional home-cooked food up on the gorgeous vine-covered and flowery terrace, boasting a beautiful view, especially at sunset, as it overlooks part of the Tivolí neighborhood (former Cartier Français), the bay and the mountains.
The set menus include seven courses including soup of the day, rice of the day, fresh vegetable salad, vegetable sautée, local cooked roots and the main course, which can range from strictly vegetarian to chicken, pork, shrimps or fish. The place serves only dinner and is only open for a couple of hours (7:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.)
Being a very small terrace with only 6 tables, booking ahead is recommended, as it is also very popular among foreign visitors.
