Circular Road

The 25-hectare (62-acre) Royal Botanic Gardens were established back in 1818 and today count some 700 tree species from around the world—including many indigenous to tropical Trinidad. Adjacent to the gardens is the Emperor Valley Zoo, which houses a huge variety of animal species, including otters, manatees, giraffes and white Bengal tigers.
