Victor Hugo called Rouen the city with a hundred bell towers—and easily the most famous of those is the one rising above Notre Dame Cathedral, which Uniworld guests will visit. Local sightseeing includes the Renaissance clock tower and the bronze cross marking the site where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake in 1431. Guests also have the opportunity to go golfing at Rouen Mont-Saint-Aignan, a scenic course surrounded by woods.
