Whilst in the walled city of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, we visited the Criminal Museum (a scary experience for me, for sure), walked almost all of the wall around the city limits, window-shopped in many a trinket shop, and fully appreciated the Kathe Wohlfarht experience, among other things.
But one of our most standout experiences came in the form of our last meal in the city, recommended to us by our hotel receptionist.
Louvre Inh. Ogawa Nobuhiro is a fantastic little Japanese restaurant that is easily accessible by foot (and well worth it). Regardless of the fact that we were one of two groups in the restaurant, the food was stellar, the service was commendable, and the staff were warm and accommodating.
Sometimes you just need a little wasabi. Louvre will not disappoint.
