My sister has a thing for Bernini sculptures. Planning our trip to Rome she kept bringing up Bernini over and over agin. Ok sis, gotta it! We trekked across the city spotting as many of his Baroque sculptures as possible. Bernini came to Rome as a young boy and quickly found the city's art and architecture inspirational. You'll easily find many of Bernini's public fountains – Piazza Navona the most notable – but there's also plenty of his work inside churches. Filled with images of Bernini dancing in her head my sister boarded the plane home with a glossy tome on her favorite sculptor. Mission accomplished!
