Located at the tip of Cape Ann near Gloucester, Rockport exemplifies the charming seaside village found in postcard views of New England. In the 19th century, Rockport became an important source of granite, and developed into an upscale residential enclave next to Gloucester. Today, the town’s main draw is its picturesque maritime setting, which includes rocky beaches and seaside parks. In addition to the great shopping and numerous dining options, Rockport also hosts several music festivals.
